ARCH1101 STUDIO SESSION ONE

I created this photomontage in 1st year Landscape Architecture 2007 for Design Communications. I like it because it is based on Qantas ‘The Spirit of Australia’. And also because of the cubes covering the top left hand corner. It also grabs my attention because it makes my eyes travel from the bottom left hand corner all the way to the middle of the image to the Eifel Tower, communicating the theme of travel.

I took this photo in Toronto, Canada, during my trip overseas early this year. It inspires me and grabs my interests in many ways, one of which, it shows the forces of nature and also the beauty of nature. This ice structure formed on the light post was created from the water coming from Niagara Falls. I also like it because of the colours of blue and the weather being wet and cloudy.

This photo is one of my favourite photos. It interests me with the buildings composed of mainly glass, and also the reflection of the buildings in the water, which really amaze me. Also the boats, which make me feel relaxed and the clouds giving me a sense of season. This is because I personally like wet and cloudy weather.
